Sunday, Sept. 12: New Beginnings Sunday

 

Whether you're new to our church or a longtime member, we hope you'll join us Sunday, Sept. 12,  for our annual celebration to kick off Sunday School for the year. At both our 8:30-9:30 a.m. traditional service and our 10:45-11:45 a.m. contemporary service, we will dedicate our Sunday school teachers and recognize those who teach or have taught. Services will be followed at noon by a picnic on the side lawn. All are welcome! The church will provide hamburgers and hot dogs. We ask those attending to bring a salad or dessert. The praise brand will share a variety of music, kids will have fun in a bouncy house, and once again there will be a balloon launch  as we announce to the community that we are a church ready to worship, learn, pray and serve.  Please plan on joining us for this special day! We at Christ Church UCC in Ft. Thomas believe very strongly that it is important to have additional  fellowship opportunities beyond the Sunday morning worship experience.  Stay tuned for a list of all activities planned for the near future, both in and out of the church building.  Just as it is important for a family to have fun together, it is just as important for the church family to get together and have fun as well.
