Top Ten Ways to Get Involved at Christ Church...

1. Worship with your Christ Church family on Sunday morning.
2. Attend a Sunday School Class at 9:45 - there's a class for everyone!
3. Help out with Interfaith Hospitality Network - do what you're most comfortable with, like cook a meal, serve as a host family for the evening, help with laundry after the week is over, or drive the van.  Our next week to host families begins April 4, 2010.
4. We need a couple of people to be trained to operate the sound equipment in the Sanctuary.  If you're interested, please notify the church office or Randy Pennington.
5. Put your musical talents to work through the vocal choir, handbell choir, praise team, or be a guest musician.
6. Join the Lenten Wednesday Evenings of Fellowship and Book Study with Pastor Dave beginning February 24; dinner at 6:00 p.m. and book study at 7:00 in Hoffman Hall.  The same book study is offered Wednesday mornings at 10:30 a.m.
7. Volunteer your time at ECHO Henry Hosea House on Sunday March 28, 2010.  We'll be serving dinner to our neighbors in Newport with volunteers needed from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. @ 901 York Street. 
8. We are looking for children 4th grade and up to serve as Acolytes.  If you are interested, you can sign up on the bulletin boards in the front or back of the Sanctuary.
9. Make a financial contribution to help alleviate the suffering in Haiti through Christ Church and our UCC Wider Mission.
10. Invite a friend to church - share the good news of God's love and grace!
