Top Ten Ways to Get Involved at Christ Church...

  1. Worship with your Christ Church family on Sunday morning.
  2. Check our Events page for upcoming activities and our Outreach page to learn more about volunteer opportunities and organizations we support.
  3. Visit our Facebook page. If you have an account on Facebook, click "like" at the top of the page to join the conversation! By interacting with our Facebook posts - especially by clicking "like" or commenting underneath them - you increase the likelihood that others on Facebook will discover Christ Church.
  4. Help out with Interfaith Hospitality Network. Do what you're most comfortable with, like cook a meal, serve as a host family at our church for an evening, help with laundry after the week is over, or drive the van. 
  5. Assist with our music program. We need a couple of people to be trained to operate the sound equipment in the Sanctuary. And your musical talents are always welcome in the vocal choir, handbell choir or praise team. We also love having guest musicians! If you're interested, please notify the church office or Dr. Pennington at pennington (insert @ symbol here) nku.edu.
  6. Start a walking group that meets at church.  We can help each other stay in shape!
  7. Support Vacation Bible School by teaching a class, bringing cookies or fruit, or organizing a few recreational activities.
  8. Participate in Faithweavers, the adult book and Bible discussion that meets at 10 a.m. on Sundays. Larry Stinson leads this wonderful group. (P.S.: Larry makes good coffee.)
  9. Make a financial contribution to help alleviate the suffering in Haiti through Christ Church and our UCC Wider Mission.
  10. Invite a friend to church - share the good news of God's love and grace!
