Camp Washington

Washington UCC church is a one hundred year old church located at 2950 Sidney Avenue in the Community of Camp Washington, a suburb of Cincinnati, Ohio.  This is an economically depressed area consisting of mostly Appalachian residents.

"The vision for Washington United Church of Christ is a partnership with Camp Washington to create a community that is safe and clean, where people have enough food, decent housing, opportunities for education and work, and live in an environment that nurtures all families." 

Christ Church UCC of Fort thomas has partnered with Washington UCC in the following endeavors:  Washington's Homework Club held Monday through Thursday, Summer Camp for neighborhood children, Back to School Fairs, a free store, meals for the neighborhood children, and Street feeds for the area.
