Mission Trips

Christ Church UCC has made many mission trips over the years.  The youth group ventured as far west as the Grand Canyon, north to the head waters of the Mississippi, East to Washington DC and bicycled throughout Kentucky.  In 2001 we participated in a mission trip to Ukrane and since then Donn Mettens has become a leader for S.A.R.A (Sharing our Resources Abroad), making an annual trip involving many churches.  Last summer five families went to Camp Washington, a suburb of Cincinnati, to minister through Washington UCC Church in the inner city community.  We worked at the summer camp for inner city children, we cleaned and repaired several homes and cooked and served dinner to the neighborhood.  Many people's lives were touched as they touched ours.
